The Jordanian National Forum for Women was established in 1995 through the initiative of her Royal Highness Princess Basma Bint Talal. The JNFW managed to become a resource for the women's movement in Jordan, and succeeded in establishing a wide base that includes women in rural areas and deserts. JNFW now is the most important group for Jordanian women, and it has branches in all governorates in the Kingdom. JNFW achieved important accomplishments that reflected on the life of Jordanian women in many fields. Listed below are some of these achievements.
